TV Version of 'Dead Dead Demons Dededede Destruction' Anime Movie Announced

Crunchyroll announced that they acquired the television version of the Dead Dead Demons Dededede Destruction anime movie on Monday. The television re-edit will span 18 episodes and include new scenes. Crunchyroll will release the episodes weekly beginning May 23 at 8:00 p.m. Pacific Time (11:00 p.m. EDT) in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, Indian subcontinent, and Southeast Asia. Produced by Production +h., the first part of the two-part anime movie adaptation of Inio Asano's sci-fi drama manga premiered on March 22. The second part will open in theaters on May 24. Big Comic Spirits began serializing the manga in April 2014, which ended its eight-year serialization in February 2022. Shogakukan published the 12th and final volume the following March.
