The VIZ Media panel at New York Comic-Con 2024 announced the main cast for the Niwatori Fighter (Rooster Fighter) television anime on Saturday.
Daisuke Suzuki (D4DJ All Mix) is directing the anime at SANZIGEN. Hiroshi Seko (Jujutsu Kaisen) is handling the series composition.
The anime adapts Shuu Sakuratani's action comedy manga which began on Hero's magazine on the Comiplex website in December 2020. Hero's shipped the eighth volume on August 5.
VIZ Media licensed the manga for release in English in October 2021. The sixth volume went on sale on June 18 and the seventh volume is scheduled to go on sale on February 18.
