'Ninja Batman tai Yakuza League' Sequel Anime Movie Announced

The official website of the Ninja Batman (Batman Ninja) anime movie announced a sequel movie titled Ninja Batman tai Yakuza League (Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League) on Thursday, revealing cast and staff. Voice actor Kouichi Yamadera (Cowboy Bebop) is reprising his role as Batman. Junpei Mizusaki (Sound & Fury) and Shinji Takagi (Shin SOS Dai Tokyo Tankentai) are returning to direct the anime movie at Kamikaze Douga. Kazuki Nakashima (Promare) and Takashi Okazaki (Ninja Kamui) are returning to handle the script and character design, respectively. Yuugo Kanno (Pluto) is also returning to compose the music. Produced by Warner Bros. Japan and animated by Kamikaze Douga, the action anime movie was released digitally in the United States in April 2018 and was released physically the following May. The movie screened in Japanese theaters in June 2018. The anime movie is based on Bill Finger and Bob Kane's Batman comic book, which was first published by DC Comics in March 1939. Masato Hisa serialized a manga adaptation in Monthly Hero's magazine from June 2018 to August 2019. Hero's shipped the second and final volume in October 2019.
