The official website for the new television anime adaptation of Gosho Aoyama's Yaiba manga, titled Shin Samurai-den Yaiba, revealed the main cast, production staff, teaser visual (pictured), and a teaser promotional video on Wednesday. Minami Takayama (Meitantei Conan) returns to voice Yaiba Kurogane. Manaka Iwami (Fruits Basket 1st Season) and Yoshimasa Hosoya (Shingeki no Kyojin) will be voicing Sayaka Mine and Takeshi Onimaru, respectively. Aoyama serialized the action adventure manga in Weekly Shounen Sunday magazine from 1988 to 1993. Shogakukan collected the chapters into 24 volumes from 1989 to 1994. Produced by Pastel, the 52-episode television anime aired from 1993 to 1994.
