Manga 'Sanda' Gets TV Anime by Science SARU

An official website opened for a television anime adaptation of Paru Itagaki's Sanda manga and revealed a teaser visual (pictured) on Thursday. The anime is being produced by animation studio Science SARU. Itagaki (Beastars) began serializing the action mystery manga in Weekly Shounen Champion magazine in July 2021. Akita Shoten shipped the 14th volume on June 7. Synopsis The story starts with Sanda, a second year middle school student, getting attacked with a kitchen knife by his classmate Fuyumura. While Sanda couldn't make sense of the situation at first, he gradually came to believe that Fuyumura's actions were just mean acts stemming off from the latter having a peculiar puberty phase.
