Main Cast, Additional Staff of 'Chuuzenji-sensei Mononoke Kougiroku' Announced for Spring 2025

The official website of the Chuuzenji-sensei Mononoke Kougiroku: Sensei ga Nazo wo Hodoite Shimau kara. (The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuzenji-sensei: He Just Solves All the Mysteries) television anime revealed the main cast, additional staff, key visual (pictured), and a teaser promo on Thursday. The anime series adapting Aki Shimizu's supernatural mystery manga will air in April 2025. Voice actors Katsuyuki Konishi (Yozakura-san Chi no Daisakusen) and Kaori Maeda (2.5-jigen no Ririsa) are starring as Akihiko Chuuzenji and Kanna Kusakabe, respectively. Toshiki Kameyama (Bishounen Tanteidan) is credited as the sound director. Keiichi Hirokawa (Shangri-La Frontier) and Ryuuichi Takada (Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song) from MONACA are composing the music. Chihiro Kumano (Unnamed Memory assistant director) is helming the anime at 100studio. Atsushi Oka (Ookamikakushi script) is handling the series composition and script. Masahiko Suzuki (Otome Game Sekai wa Mob ni Kibishii Sekai desu) is designing the characters. Shimizu began serializing the manga—a spin-off to Natsuhiko Kyougoku's Hyakki Yakou novel series—in Shounen Magazine Edge in October 2019. Following the magazine's suspension, the manga switched to the Comic Days app in December 2023. Kodansha published the tenth volume on October 8.
