'Ao no Miburo' Reveals Additional Cast, First Promo

The official website of the Ao no Miburo (The Blue Wolves of Mibu) television anime revealed additional cast members, key visual (pictured), and first promotional video on Monday. The anime is scheduled to premiere in October 2024 at 5:30 p.m. on YTV and NTV. Kumiko Habara (100-man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru) is directing the anime at Maho Film. Kenta Ihara (Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu) is handling the series composition. Yuuko Ooba (Level 1 dakedo Unique Skill de Saikyou desu) and Miyako Nishida (Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni.) are designing the characters. Yuuki Hayashi (Boku no Hero Academia) is composing the music. The anime adapts Tsuyoshi Yasuda's historical samurai manga, which began in Weekly Shounen Magazine in October 2021. Kodansha will publish the 14th volume on July 17. Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English and released the second volume on May 28. The third volume is scheduled to go on sale on August 27.
